01 November 2014 - The Hawk Composite Squadron will be beginning the training of a color guard. At competition, teams compete in seven events; an in-ranks uniform inspection, standard drill performance, outdoor practical, indoor practical, a written examination, a panel bowl, and a one-mile run. The top team from New Hampshire will proceed on to represent the wing at the Northeast Region Competition. Any cadets who are interested in representing the squadron will commit themselves to a weekly training schedule that will be run from 1730-1830 hrs on Thursdays prior to regularly scheduled meetings (please check squadron calendar for dates), to prepare them to be competition ready.
