Drug Demand Reduction (DDR) Program

Picture

The Vision of the DDR Program
"To be a leading force in America’s drug demand reduction strategy through the education and development of tomorrow’s leaders in voluntary community service for a drug-free world."

The Mission of the DDR Program
"The Civil Air Patrol Drug Demand Reduction Program assists squadrons, groups, wings, and regions to instill an aggressive, positive, drug-free attitude in CAP members, AF families, DoD civilians, and school-age children through a comprehensive program that: Promotes CAP as a positive community service lifestyle; encourages youth to remain in school; focuses on drug abuse education, prevention, and awareness; and provides positive activities as an alternative to
                                                  drugs and gang violence"

Here at the Hawk Composite we take take the vision and mission of the DDR program very seriously and actively promote that the young men and women who serve within our corps of cadets live drug- and alcohol-free lives, so that they can go on to achieve even more in their lives, and ultimately turn their dreams into realities.

To learn more about the DDR news and activities, please contact a squadron staff member, visit the National Headquarters Drug Demand Reduction website, and continue to monitor this site for updates.
